2023 Singapore Grand Prix: Sainz on Top, and the Red Bull Streak is Broken

 17th September marked the end of the Red Bull dominance, their 15 race streak and Max Verstappen's 10 race wins in a row was put to an end by the scarlet red Ferrari of Carlos Sainz jr. in a clinical display of form under the lights of the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Throughout the weekend, Red Bull has been off the pace, struggling with rear instability as they fail to get temperature into the tires. They reverted to an older specification of floor edges but to no avail, with Checo qualifying 13th and Max 11th, narrowly beat out by the Red Bull junior driver and rookie Liam Lawson. Sainz on the other hand, goes on pole with his teammate not far behind in 3rd. Between them, the Mercedes of George Russell looked to steal Sainz's thunder on Sunday. Race day was a strategic masterclass by Sainz. He kept the pack bunched up, preventing anyone from pitting and gaining the undercut. Michael Schumacher, who has won 91 races and 7 world championships, is also considered one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time.
